What to expect at your first appointment...
Congratulations for choosing natural health! This is the place to start! Plan on staying for around and hour and a half. Naturopathic consultations take longer because the goal is to help the whole person physically, energetically, functionally, and emotionally. This is your time to tell your story. This is an important first step in your healing journey. You'll have completed a Naturopathic Health Intake form that you'll give me at your first appointment. You will provide saliva and urine samples so I can find your pH and evaluate your "terrain." I will look at your irises (iridology) and this will help me find potential health issues or imbalances. Using TCM principles, I'll evaluate your face, tongue, and fingernails to evaluate your health and potential areas that may need support. I will perform a Reflex Nutritional Assessment which is a noninvasive method of biofeedback that can allow me to gather information about your body. This assesses potential nutritional, and system needs through muscle response testing. If a zone tests "weak," I'll search for "balancers" which could be herbs, glandulars, essential oils, or homeopathics that can strengthen that zone. A surrogate can be used to test children or others that are unable to engage. You'll have a biosurvey using the ZYTO hand cradle by measuring your Galvanic Skin Response to "questions" asked to your body of different stressors and balancers that can help (this will take about 5 minutes to complete).

You'll receive a list of suggested herbs, a custom blend of flower essences to support you emotionally, and other adjustments to get you started on your way. It may take 3-4 days to compile after your appointment because I like to personalize natural health plan.

Follow up appointments: This will be scheduled around 30 days after your first appointment. As we make progress, we will need to tweak your plan to fine tune with you and add some new steps! This usually is 50-60 minutes.
